This guide covers the most common issues when connecting your Bluesky profile to dodd.ly.

Before you start

Before connecting your Bluesky profile, make sure:

  • You are logged into the correct Bluesky account
  • Pop-ups are enabled in your browser
  • You accept all permissions requested during the connection process

If you're using an app password to connect your account, make sure it is active and entered correctly.

Common issues

I can't connect my Bluesky profile
This usually happens when:

  • You are logged into the wrong account
  • Your app password is incorrect or has been revoked
  • The connection process was interrupted before it completed

Try signing in again and reconnecting your profile.
The connection wasn't completed
If the connection process doesn't finish successfully:

  • Check that your browser isn't blocking pop-ups
  • Verify your account credentials
  • Remove the existing channel and connect it again
My Bluesky channel stopped working
Occasionally, the connection between Bluesky and dodd.ly may expire.

If this happens, refresh the channel first. If the issue continues, remove the channel and connect it again.
