Trouble connecting Threads?

This guide covers the most common issues when connecting your Threads profile to dodd.ly.

Before going through Threads-specific issues, we recommend checking the Common Connection Problems guide, as many issues are caused by permissions or account selection.

Before connecting your Threads profile, make sure:

• You are logged into the correct Threads and Meta accounts
• Pop-ups are enabled in your browser
• You accept all permissions requested during the connection process
  

Threads is part of Meta, so you may be asked to complete the connection through your Meta account.

I can't connect my Threads profile
This usually happens when:

• You are logged into the wrong account
• The required permissions were not granted during the connection process
• The connection process was interrupted before it completed
  

Try signing out and connecting again using the correct account.

The connection wasn't completed
If the connection process doesn't finish successfully:

• Check that your browser isn't blocking pop-ups
• Complete any account verification requested by Meta
• Remove the existing channel and connect it again

My Threads channel stopped working
Occasionally, the connection between Threads and dodd.ly may expire.

If this happens, refresh the channel first. If the issue continues, remove the channel and connect it again.

If you're still having trouble:

1. Remove the Threads channel from your workspace
2. Log out of your Meta account
3. Log back in using the correct account
4. Connect your Threads profile again
5. Accept all requested permissions
